Monday Night Football is home to a Week 4 doubleheader, starting with the New York Jets taking on the Dolphins in Miami, and rounding out the evening with the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City.
The Jets and Dolphins are looking for win No. 1 of the season to avoid an 0-4 start. Both teams are three games behind rival Buffalo already and need a win to stop this free fall.
After being without starting quarterback Justin Fields in Week 3 due to a concussion, he'll make his return to the Jets on Monday night. His return is great news for New York, which could use Fields' versatility this week against a Dolphins defense that led the league in points allowed (97) and was one of three defenses that had yet to force a turnover entering Week 4.

Miami's formerly explosive offense will need to find its way, as it ranks in the lower third of the league, having scored just 56 points in three games. Tua Tagovailoa has been inconsistent, averaging 191.7 pass yards per game through three weeks with five touchdowns and four interceptions despite throwing to a talented receiving corps of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and running back De'Von Achane. After being outscored 56-97 through three weeks, Mike McDaniel's seat continues to heat up.
Cincinnati finds itself trying to hang on without star quarterback Joe Burrow, who will miss extended time with a turf toe injury, as it continues to try to find a way to win with backup Jake Browning. Though receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are elite options in the passing game, he's struggled with turnovers to this point, with five interceptions through two games.
Denver is searching for its second win of the season after dropping a divisional game to the Chargers in Week 3. The Broncos have lost the past two games on walk-off field goals by the Chargers and Colts. This could be an opportunity for Denver's defense to make a statement by taking advantage of the Bengals' propensity for turnovers with Browning under center.

FeaturedTue, September 30, 2025 at 4:18 AM GMT+2Ryan YoungFinal: Dolphins 27, Jets 21
Thanks to a pretty solid night from Tua Tagovailoa the Miami Dolphins have their first win of the season. Tagovailoa threw for a pair of touchdowns, and De'Von Achane racked up 99 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, to lift the Dolphins to the seven-point win. Darren Waller had a pair of touchdown grabs, too.
The tough part for Miami, though, is that they lost star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to a horrific knee injury. While we're still waiting on specifics — early reports believe that he dislocated his left knee — he'll likely be out for a very significant amount of time.
The Dolphins, now 1-3, will take on the Carolina Panthers next weekend in North Carolina. The Jets, now 0-4, will host the Dallas Cowboys next weekend.

The Broncos aren't putting the Bengals away just yet. That's two Broncos punts in two second-half possessions, and Denver maintains a 21-3 lead.
But there's little from Cincinnati's offense to indicate that it's going to lead a comeback.

Denver's defense teed off on third-and-2, and Jake Browning didn't stand a chance.
Browning was lucky to get rid of the ball on a Broncos blitz, and the Bengals have punted yet again after a panicked incomplete pass.

The Dolphins recovered the onside kick attempt, and that should do it. They'll run out the last 1:49 and escape with their first win of the season.

Garrett Wilson went through Rasul Douglas to make an absolutely ridiculous touchdown grab just now. What an incredible catch.

The Broncos are in full control as Cincinnati's hobbled offense has nothing to offer against a stout Denver defense.

Given a second chance to score inside the 2-minute warning, the Broncos capitalized.

The Bengals just came up with a goal-line stand and will start their next possession at the 20-yard line instead of backed up to the end zone.

Garrett Wilson made a sensational catch and tapped his toes in the end zone for what looked like a Jets touchdown.
But he got a hand on his defender before the catch and got called for offensive pass interference for a push-off just before the catch. Sometimes this is called. Sometimes it's not.
Unfortunately for the Jets, it was called this time.
