Channing Tatum revealed that sweet way he has bonded with his daughter, Everly, in a rare comment about his only child.

"We love [Demon Slayer]," Tatum, 45, said about himself and Everly, 12, while walking the red carpet at the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle premiere on Tuesday, September 9, according to Us Weekly. "We've been watching this for so long."

Everly added that she and Tatum have been fans of the franchise from the very "start," which led him to ask her what she likes best about anime.

"I think it's beautifully made and has an incredible story line," she explained. "I love anime, like, in general. So it's like, beautifully animated, I guess."

The Step Up star agreed with Everly that he's drawn to the "art" of anime before he gushed about how talented she is. "She's an amazing artist," he said of his daughter, adding that she "draws" in the same style as anime.

Not only are Tatum and Everly fans of Demon Slayer, but the father-daughter duo shared that they also enjoy watching Black Clover.

Tatum and Everly attended the premiere together because he voices the character of Keizo in the English version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle.

His love of the franchise is no surprise, as a press release announcing his role in the project stated that he "discovered his love of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and anime through watching the series with his daughter."

Tatum shares Everly with his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, whom he married in July 2009. After they welcomed Everly in June 2013, the couple announced that they had called it quits after nine years of marriage in April 2018. However, their divorce wasn't finalized until September 2024. Both Tatum and Dewan, 44, have agreed to share 50/50 custody of their daughter.
