Mike Tyson praises his wife Lakiha "Kiki" Spicer for writing his new one-man-show, "Return of the Mike" ahead of its November debut
The boxer tells PEOPLE his wife of 16 years is "always excited about doing something artistic"
Tyson says fans may be surprised by some of the revelations made in the upcoming stage show
Mike Tyson will return to the stage to perform his one-man-show, but it's the boxing legend's wife, Lakiha "Kiki" Spicer, who will make his story come to life.
In November, 59-year-old Tyson, fresh off announcing his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather, will begin performing "Return of the Mike" — a "no filter" stage show performed at select Hard Rock Live venues that'll see Tyson addressing and reflecting on his past controversies, personal relationships and storied career.
Tyson is listed as a co-author alongside his wife, but he tells PEOPLE Spicer deserves all the credit. "She writes it all. She writes it," and says he only "sometimes" gives her notes of things to add.
"She loves it, she's excited about it. She's always excited about doing something artistic, she likes doing that stuff," he says of his wife of 16 years.

Whether or not their marriage will be a talking point in the show, which is "still being written" as of Sept. 8, is still to be determined, he says. "We'll mention that marriage probably later at the end of the show."
Tyson says he'll talk about "a lot of the things that happened during my hiatus from the stage, so to speak," he shares, noting that the show will address "a lot of lawsuits" and "a lot of ridiculousness" he's experienced in the public eye.
Tyson and Spicer wed on June 6, 2009, according to The New York Times. The pair reportedly married at the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton, and later renewed their vows in June 2011 at an event guests originally believed was a joint birthday party for the duo.
Tyson and Spicer welcomed their first child together, daughter Milan, on Dec. 15, 2008. The couple expanded their family with the arrival of their son, Morocco, on Jan. 25, 2011.

Tyson first performed a one-man-show, "The Undisputed Truth," in 2013. No stranger to the stage, he admits he does get nervous about performing, but says he "loves" doing it. "I've done this for years, and I stopped for a few years, then I decided to do it again, because I had some free time and I wanted to kill it," Tyson explains. "I hate having free time, so I wanted to have something to do."
As they continue writing, Tyson tells PEOPLE he's still deciding if he'll include "stuff about my old girlfriends," but says he "might put it in."

Tyson thinks fans will be surprised by some of the topics, like, "things that happened during my first fight with Jake" and "my ideology about all that stuff."
He might be known as the "baddest man on the planet," but Tyson describes himself differently. "I love to laugh, love to have fun, love to travel, love to enjoy my family time and stuff," he says, adding, "But could get serious real quick."
