On Tuesday, Timereleased its list of "The World's Most Influential Rising Stars."

Every year, Time chooses 100 artists, innovators, politicians, influencers, leaders and advocates who they believe are shaping the future and defining the next generation. After they choose their class of nominees, they ask the nominee's close friend to write about them.

One of the nominees includes Lainey Wilson, a country musician who rose to fame thanks to her breakout hit song "Things a Man Oughta Know" in 2021. Miranda Lambert, who is also a famous country singer and claims to be a big fan of the 33-year-old singer, honored her on Time.

"She is such a light. She's funny and she's fun, and she has a spirit about her that brings joy to any room she walks in. Knowing her off the stage and on, I feel like I'm looking at the same person all the time. That's pretty rare. What she does doesn't define her. Who she is defines her, and that's real authenticity," Lambert, 41, wrote. "She lives and breathes songs, and you can see that passion in her eyes; it's all about the music for her, and she lets the music lead."

Lambert, long established as one of country music's biggest stars, has often praised Wilson for her songwriting talent and authenticity. Wilson has also cited Lambert as both a role model and a supportive presence as she's risen in the industry over the past six years.

Wilson has quickly become one of country music's brightest stars. Raised in the small town of Baskin, Louisiana, Wilson moved to Nashville after graduating high school in 2011 to pursue her music dreams. Her 2020 album Sayin' What I'm Thinkin' introduced her to the world, but it was her 2021 single "Things a Man Oughta Know" that became a chart-topping hit and earned her widespread recognition.

Since then, Wilson has collected numerous accolades, including multiple Country Music Association Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and a Grammy for Best Country Album for her 2022 album Bell Bottom Country. Outside of music, she has also expanded her career into acting with a role on Yellowstone.

Currently, the "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" singer is on her third headlining tour, the Whirlwind World Tour, in support of her fifth studio album, Whirlwind. She is set to perform at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Thursday evening. It was also announced on Tuesday that the singer will be hosting the 2025 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards on Nov. 19.

"I'm really proud of how she represents the lifestyle we both love and the music we both love," Lambert concluded in her message. "She's out of the gate going 100 miles an hour."
