Leaf-peepers and fall enthusiasts, start your engines, because fall foliage has officially entered the chat for 2025.
Granted, it's a nice, gradual start and for very limited areas, but it's still an omen that beautiful colors are on the way.
So far, fall foliage is only starting to make itself known in a few areas nestled among the high elevations of the Rockies, according to ExploreFall.com.

You may have noticed, but the rest of the current foliage map is a little — green (green with envy, maybe!).
But we do have a full season ahead of us, so keep an eye out for any trees starting to change in your area.
