Cori Kennedy has a way with words!

In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE from the Monday, Sept. 29 episode of The Voice, Kennedy took the stage to perform a cover of The Judds' "Why Not Me" for her blind audition and received a chair turn from coaches Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé.

"I actually wrote a song about me meeting the four of you. Is it okay if I play it for you?" Kennedy, 28, said after introducing herself to the coaches.

"Give it to me, girl! Give it to me," coach Snoop Dogg said as McEntire, Bublé and Niall Horan cheered her on.

"Well I'm just a girl from a zero stoplight town / Minnesota roots and wearing hand me downs / From dreaming in the dark I stepped out and rejoiced / My grandma won't believe me that I'm singing on The Voice," Kennedy sings.

Then, she dedicates a portion of the song to each coach.

"Snoop I didn't grow up on your rhythm or your rhyme / But I know Willie Nelson so I think we'll be just fine / Ms. Reba you raised me right on the sitcom screen / A single mom who works two jobs / My redhead fancy queen," Kennedy sang.

"Niall, your Irish smile lit up my teenage days / I was only smitten for Harry on my One Direction phase / Mr. Bublé you sing like a Christmas star / But have you ever tried to jumpstart a frozen Minnesota car?" she added.

She concluded the song by singing: "I'm not sure what I've done or why they even picked me / I must be doing something right I'm singing on NBC."

Once she finished the song, the coaches cheered her on and Snoop gave her "a little bit of advice."

"Next time you come on The Voice, come out with an original song. That bangs!" the rapper, 53, said.

Then, McEntire, 70, and Bublé, 50, began their hopeful pleas to get Kennedy on their respective teams.

"I'm just so thrilled to be back on The Voice and to hear your voice on that stage singing," the "I'm a Survivor" singer said. "Oh, it just took me back to Tennessee. Makes me homesick. Your voice is wonderful, such power."

The "Haven't Met You Yet" singer began by complimenting her vocal range during her audition.

"Hi Cori. You started off very low then you started singing in the high ranges and I was like, 'Oh my God.' It's like country with a little mix of Stevie Nicks," he said.

He then went into a tangent and showed off his socks with McEntire's face on them.

"Then Reba pushed her button... I wore these for you," he said to the country singer. "These are Reba McEntire socks, baby!"

Find out who Kennedy chooses as her coach when the episode airs on Monday, Sept. 29 at at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays — and all episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
