In a conference call on Monday, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced that his network will broadcast theDetroit Lions' Week 10 game in Germany on Nov. 15 as part of a triple-header. It's thefirst triple-header of gamesfor any broadcaster.
Kickoff for the game is set for 9:30 a.m. ET from FC Bayern Munich Stadium in Munich, Germany. The opponent is still yet to be announced.
TheLions' trip to Munich will mark the franchise's third international game. Detroit played at Wembley Stadium in London in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015. The Lions beat theAtlanta Falcons, 22-21, on Oct. 26, 2014. Then, on Nov. 1, 2015, the Lions fell to theKansas City Chiefsin London, 45-10.
In its first international game, then-Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 325 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Detroit rallied from a 21-0 halftime deficit to down the Falcons. Golden Tate caught seven passes for 151 yards and a score.
The Lions won with a 48-yard field goal from kicker Matt Prater. Prater had just missed a 43-yard try, but a delay of game penalty gave him another opportunity and Prater drilled the 48-yarder.

It will be the sixth NFL game played in Germany and the third in Munich.
This season, a record nine international contests will be played across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums.
There will be three London games (two in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, one in Wembley Stadium); a game at Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain; theSan Francisco 49erswill play theLos Angeles Ramsat Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia; a game from Estadio Banorte in Mexico City; a game from Stade de France Stadium in Paris; and theBaltimore Ravenswill meet theDallas Cowboysfrom Maracanã Stadium in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Theentire 2026 NFL schedule releasewill take place on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
