Over a year after filing for bankruptcy, Red Lobster is introducing a new deal on their shrimp
The Ultimate Endless Shrimp deal is no more; however, diners can now order the Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp alongside some other new menu additions such as seasonal cocktails
"It may not be endless, but you'll definitely spend less," Red Lobster's CEO Damola Adamolekun said of the newly announced deal
Red Lobster is rolling out some new deals and menu offerings as they crest the wave of their bankruptcy filing and emerge on the other side.
On Monday, Sept. 8, the seafood restaurant chain announced that they will replace their Ultimate Endless Shrimp deal with the newly announced Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp.
Unlike with the Endless Shrimp deal, diners will only be able to order a single plate of shrimp. However, it will feature three different flavors — Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo and Popcorn Shrimp — all for the cost of $15.99.

The news comes after reports in April 2024 suggested that the Endless Shrimp deal, which customers could purchase for $25, was negatively impacting the restaurant's bottom line.
Red Lobster filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy that May. In a statement at the time, the company said that restuarants "will remain open and operating as usual during the Chapter 11 process, continuing to be the world's largest and most-loved seafood restaurant company."
However, additional restaurants were closed in August 2024.
In an attempt to turn turn things around, the Endless Shrimp deal was brought to a close, leaving room for new opportunities.
"Since stepping into this role, I've gotten questions about Endless Shrimp – 'Is it coming back? 'What really happened with the promotion?' 'How much shrimp is too much shrimp?' And it's time we officially turn the tides," Damola Adamolekun, Red Lobster's CEO, said in press release shared with PEOPLE.
Adamolekun continued, saying, "We're starting a new chapter here at Red Lobster, one that's smarter, more sustainable and still packed with the unbeatable value and delicious flavors our guests have come to expect. Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp is a celebration and I'm looking forward to our diners enjoying great shrimp dishes this season for a great price. It may not be endless, but you'll definitely spend less."

That's not all, though. Diners will now be able to find their favorite Seafood Boils on the permanent menu.
Additionally, Red Lobster is rolling out three new cocktails specially curated for the fall.

The Caramel Dream is a vodka-based drink that contains flavors of butterscotch, caramel and cream, all finished off with a sea salt chocolate caramel. Next up is the Apple Harvest Punch, a rum drink featuring cranberry, lemon and apple juice.
The Gold Rush is the final new addition and features bourbon with honey and gold shimmer for a stylish appearance.
