Kirsten Dunst said she doesn't like to match outfits with her husband, Jesse Plemons
"We unconsciously do this a lot," the actress admitted to Town & Country Magazine
Dunst also told the outlet about her family's recent health scare
Kirsten Dunst is not into matching with her husband, Jesse Plemons.
In a video interview with Town & Country Magazine shared on TikTok on Wednesday, Aug. 20, the actress, 43, didn't hold back about her fashion hot takes.
When asked about wearing matching outfits with Plemons, 37, she shared, "We unconsciously do this a lot. One of us changes, though."
She continued, "I'm not gonna roll out in the same like... 'Oh you're wearing a blue plaid shirt, I'm wearing a blue plaid shirt, you're wearing jeans, I'm wearing jeans?'"
"I don't want to match with my husband," Dunst concluded.
The couple, who married in 2022 and share two sons, have appeared in coordinating looks on the red carpet, but steer clear of straight-up matching looks.
In speaking with Town & Country Magazine, Dunst revealed that her 4-year-old son, James, had a serious health scare while her family was living abroad, shooting The Entertainment System Is Down.
Plemons and their two sons, Ennis, 7, and James, joined her in January during filming. The family rented a house in Budapest and enrolled their older son in a local school, but when James developed a health problem, the family was sent back to Los Angeles to be with their loved ones.

The actress spent the next few months alone in Budapest and said the experience felt like "Final Destination, where you're imagining all the things that could go wrong, worst-case scenarios happening to your child."
"I have never seen that movie," Dunst continued. "But I know the concept. That's how it feels to be a mother at times."
The Spider-Man actress also shared that the scary moment "brought us together as a family in a deeper way."
The parents promised their sons they would take them "anywhere James wanted to go," so they're headed to the Bahamas next.
The star said her son told her, "I want to go to a beach where my sandcastle won't wash away."
Dunst also shared that people have been pronouncing her name wrong.
In another TikTok with the outlet, the actress revealed that her first name is pronounced "Keersten."
"But who cares?" she laughed, adding that "everyone messes up my name. So I give up, I don't care."
The star, who wore an intricately beaded silver minidress for the video appearance, then listed off the versions of her name she'll answer to. "I don't blame people."
