With her scoring and consistent ability to find open teammates, highlighted by a career average of 8.4 assists per game, she's become a nightmare for opponents.
While some players have praised Clark's talent on the floor, Minnesota Lynx guard and 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year Olivia Miles was blunt when she spoke about the Indiana Fever star recently. Miles recently joined The Old Man and the Three podcast, and Clark was among the topics discussed. She spoke about Clark, along with Paige Bueckers and Sonia Citron, admitting that it was "annoying to play against" her.
"Obviously, Caitlin with the shooting and her playmaking ability," Miles said. "She's so good with her right hand attacking downhill and creating for others. And obviously in transition she's deadly. It is annoying to play against, right? Like, you've got to guard her, and you've got to make sure that you have bodies on her at all times and making it hard."
It's high praise for Clark, and Miles echoed similar sentiments for Bueckers and Citron. She praised the Dallas Wings guard for her ability to post up in the short corner and facilitate for teammates, while tipping her cap to Citron for doing "everything," playing at all three levels and being a strong defender.
Clark has now been named a WNBA All-Star in each of her first three seasons and made the All-WNBA First Team twice, in 2024 and this season. Like Miles, she also won WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2024.
