In September, she signed a developmental contract with the Chicago Sky. Martin played two games for Chicago, averaging 5.0 points and 1.0 assist in 13.0 minutes off the bench.

One of her teammates with the Sky is 6-foot-3 center-forward Elizabeth Williams. On Friday, the veteran took to social media to send a parting message for the 2026 season, which marked Williams' 12th year in the WNBA.

"12 seasons of hoopin and hollerin. Always love #SkyTown," Williams posted on Instagram along with some of her favorite photos from the past season.

Martin caught wind of her teammate's message. She reacted by sharing the post in her Instagram stories . Martin didn't include a caption, letting the post speak for itself.

Williams was a key rotation player for the Sky in 2026. She played all 44 games, averaging 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.2 minutes per game. The one-time All-Star remains under contract with the Sky through 2027 and is expected to return next season.

Martin, meanwhile, is set to enter free agency in the offseason. It remains to be seen if the Sky will offer her a new deal or if she will need to take her talents elsewhere.
