The scheming really came out on this week's Bachelor in Paradise episode. There was a stark divide between people who think there should be strategy involved and people who just want to vote with their hearts or whatever. Spoiler alert — I think it's dumb not to play strategy. Do you people want to win the money or not?

But apparently, a lot of them don't care that much about the money because they are playing kind of a dumb game. This is not Make Friends in Paradise, y'all. There is a serious amount of money on the line, c'mon people.

Below are all the details on who went home, who stayed and who coupled up, but be warned of spoilers ahead. Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

Who went home on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, episode 8 in 2025 tonight?Brian Autz

34, Aesthetics consultant, Boynton Beach, FLJenn Tran's Bachelorette season 21

Parisa Shifteh

30, pediatric behavior analyst, Birmingham, MIGrant Ellis' Bachelor season 29

Allyshia Gupta

29, Interior designer, Wesley Chapel, FLGrant Ellis' Bachelor season 29

Sean McLaughlin

27, Software sales rep, Troy, NYCharity Lawson's Bachelorette season 20 and Bachelor in Paradise season 9

The big Rose Ceremony bombshell was that Allyshia and Sean quit the show because they felt like their integrity was being questioned. Huh. But they were also getting voted out anyway. On the way out, Sean took kind of a cheap shot at Kat, but like — was he wrong? I don't think so. As he said in a talking-head, "Dale is going to leave Kat the moment this s**t ends."

The more shocking elimination was Brian and Parisa because it really seemed like people were gearing up to vote off non-romantic couples.

Here's how we got there:

This was an interesting week because two couples were going to be voted out, so there was a lot of political maneuvering going on, especially on Sean's part. Brian took umbrage at that, but like — it's a game. If you don't want to go home, you have to rally people to send someone else home. That's just math, dude. You can't just leave it to chance. Sean was shocked at how little strategy was being employed by everyone, and frankly, so was I (at least at first, it became very apparent later that nobody wants to have any strategy and they all look kind of dumb).

Where Sean really went wrong was two-fold — you can't target Spencer and Jess on a week when they have immunity, dude. You have to wait. And then, you can't confront an unstable mess like Kat because the first thing she did was run back to Dale and completely exaggerate her entire conversation with Sean, and then Dale felt like he had to be a big man and confront Sean about it. It was so stupid. Dale has been a total walking red-flag this season, but Kat deserves him. She was acting like a lunatic.

Sean, this is not the show for Survivor-level scheming, brother. You were playing way too hard and nobody liked that. Interestingly, Kathy felt like the romantic couples get to leave having found love, but she thought the money should go to the couple with the best gameplay. Reality TV competition shows need more Kathys.

What was the third Relationship Test on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10?

The third relationship test was about communication. One half of each couple was buried in a box with a walkie-talkie and had to give clues to the partner outside in order for the free partner to solve puzzles and unearth their buried partner. The fastest couple to do it was the winner, and they would be safe from elimination. This week, the group would vote on which two ladies would not be receiving roses, therefore sending two couples home.

Except the "buried" half of each couple was not buried at all and was in fact just sitting in a hot box. Survivor or The Challenge, this is not. But the actual challenge proved very difficult for most couples because it was hard to hear each other over the walkies, but also, people struggled with stuff like "what a spigot is," which was kind of astonishing. But seriously, did the show give them janky walkies on purpose because it was ridiculous how hard it was to communicate.

In the end, only Sean & Allyshia, Spencer & Jess, and Jeremy & Bailey managed to finish at all. Spencer and Jess had the fastest time, which was good because the other couples are definitely going to start gunning for them. They basically have to win from here on out or they are probably toast.
