Kristin Davis spoke about her fond memory of the late actor Matthew Perry, where she revealed a charming story of their encounter in the 1990s.
In the latest episode of iHeartRadio's podcast, Are You a Charlotte?, the actress took a trip down memory lane and recalled an unexpected brush with the beloved TV star.
The 60-year-old actress mentioned the little-known moment when she found herself being set up on a date with Perry.
Davis shared that during the peak of Melrose Place and Sex and the City, a mutual attorney friend arranged for her to go on a blind date.
"He's not my lawyer, but he's a nice lawyer, and I've been set up with Matthew Perry," she told guest Brian Van Holt, adding, "And this is like '98, '99, '97 maybe. I feel like it was between Melrose Place, which I did before [Sex and the] City, and it was at a house. It was a dinner party. It was so low-key."

Moreover, she described the dinner party as a star-studded one, filled with "a bunch of Hollywood people."
"I don't even know who was there other than this lawyer and Matthew," the actress added.
As for the date, Davis shared how delightful the '90s icon was to be around and even spoke about his genuine feelings while filming Friends with the cast and crew.
"Matthew's lovely," she revealed, adding, "He sits next to me. And he's talking about how thrilled he is, how happy they are on the set at Friends, and he was doing a film with Salma Hayek. I was like, 'Wow, he's so happy.'"

The mother of two first rose to fame in 1995 when she portrayed Brooke Armstrong, the manipulative, ambitious, spoiled rich daughter in Melrose Place. However, she gained global recognition after landing the character of Charlotte York in Sex and the City, alongside Kim Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon, which aired from 1998 to 2004.
As for Perry, he became a household name thanks to his character Chandler Bing, the sarcastic and quick-witted member of the 1994 sitcom Friends.
