The tuna salad, supplied by Reser's Fine Foods, contains breadcrumbs that are potentially contaminated with listeria, according to the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) announcement on Monday, July 21.

There have been no reports of illnesses as of July 21.

All recalled tuna salad items had a sell-by date between July 16, 2025 and July 19, 2025. The specific labels and codes of affected products can be found on the FDA's website.

Listeriosis, the condition caused by listeria infection, causes headaches, fever, muscle aches, confusion and diarrhea among other symptoms, according to the USDA. The agency also highlighted that people over 65, those who are pregnant and immunocompromised people are especially at risk from listeriosis, which can result in a fatal infection.
