A groom isn't missing a thing when it comes to his bride — or her hilarious quotes!

On Adam Arnaout's wedding day to Sidney Sterling, he decided to shake things up with his vows by sharing some of his favorite quotes from his bride over the course of their eight-year relationship — and it all culminated in a perfect wedding moment.

"I spent eight years writing down quotes from my fiancee for our vows. It paid off," Arnaout could be seen telling his bride in front of the altar in a TikTok video that garnered over 11.3 million views and over 1.5 million likes.

"2,857 days I've kept a running list of your most unintentionally hilarious quotes in something that I called, 'The Notes,' " he continued, before listing off some of his favorites, including her response when he once told her he loved her and she replied, "I love chicken nuggets."

"You once asked me if waterboarding was hard, saying that you'd like to try it. That's called wake-boarding," Arnaout joked as their guests laughed. "You declared, 'I'm a cinematographer,' while eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch."

"You pointed at my toothpick and said that's a nice pitchfork," he went on. "When we drove by a truck full of firemen, you said, 'Oh, the fire extinguishers are here.'" He captioned the video asking people what their favorite quote of his bride's were.

Sterling told PEOPLE that her husband has kept a running list of her quotes — along with their "memories" and a list of her favorite things — since they were "less than a month into their relationship in 2017." She describes it as a "running record of our relationship through Adam's eyes."

"I don't remember exactly what the first entry was, but I must've said something funny because I vividly remember him laughing and saying, 'I need to write that down so I never forget how hilarious that was,' " Sterling recalled.

"I thought it was the sweetest thing—that he wanted to remember something I said just because it made him laugh. It's one of the many reasons why I fell in love with Adam," she added.

However, she said she didn't know that Arnaout's "notes" would be making a cameo at their July 5 wedding at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel in Miami, but said she was ultimately "so glad they did" — because "it felt so real and so us."

"We didn't go the traditional route on purpose—we wanted the ceremony to reflect the foundation of our relationship," Sterling explained. "What you see in the video is exactly who we are: always laughing, always joking, and just genuinely loving life together. Before the wedding, we made a pact that our vows would be just as heartfelt as they were funny, and I think we found the perfect balance. You could feel the love—and the laughter—from everyone in the room."

"Now all of our family and friends are in on [The Notes]—and it made such a special moment even more meaningful," she added.

The couple first met at a Sports Media class at the University of Miami in early 2017, and though they shared so many mutual friends and spent every weekend on the same sideline — as Sterling was a cheerleader and Arnaout was a football player — they never crossed paths until then.

The pair began dating after Arnaout decided to stay at UM for law school, Sterling said, adding that "from our first date, we were inseparable." They got engaged on July 6, 2023, at Villa Cora in Florence and later celebrated at a private winery. Sterling described it as "perfect," along with their wedding day.

She also noted that now that they were married, they had so much more to look forward to: "I'm so excited for everything ahead—and a lifetime of 'The Notes.'"
