Miley Cyrus has dropped a new song, "Dream as One," as part of the Avatar: Fire and Ash soundtrack.
"Every lyric remembers where we've been, reflects where we are, and holds hope for what's ahead for all of us," Cyrus wrote about the song.
Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on Dec. 19, 2025.
Miley Cyrus has released the music video for her Golden Globe-nominated song, "Dream As One," which is part of theAvatar: Fire and Ashsoundtrack. The visual features Cyrus singing against the backdrop of flames, embers, and smoke, spliced with clips of the film.
The track, co-written by Cyrus, is a love song that also reflects the film's elemental themes of fire and ash. The chorus goes: "Even through the flames / Even through the ashes in the sky / Baby, when we dream, we dream as one."
On November 14, Cyrusannouncedthe release of "Dream as One" on Instagram, writing, "Writing this song with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt came straight from the heart. Every lyric remembers where we've been, reflects where we are, and holds hope for what's ahead for all of us. It was an honor to create something so personal for a film that connects so deeply with people around the world."
A few weeks earlier, Cyrusposteda short snippet of the song and shared more about its personal meaning: "Honored to supportAvatar: Fire and Ashwith an original song I've written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Having beenpersonally affected by fireand being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me."
She continued, "Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film's themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe theAvatarfamily has created is truly a dream come true."
