<p>Danone U.S. is voluntarily recalling YoCrunch yogurt products, citing "potential presence of plastic pieces" in the packages' toppers, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced on Tuesday, July 14.</p>
<p>The food and beverage company issued the recall on July 11. The FDA stated that consumers reported the plastic pieces, which poses a risk of choking.</p>
<p>The pieces were described as transparent, with potentially sharp edges, and some were between 7 mm and 25 mm in length.</p>
<p>"The issue is isolated only to the separately packaged topper and does not impact the separately packaged yogurt," the FDA said in the news release.</p>

<p>According to the FDA, the products were sold at retail stores nationwide and the recall "applies to all flavors and sizes" of YoCrunch products currently in market.</p>
<p>Danone is working on removing the impacted YoCrunch products from retail locations, the FDA said.</p>
