Hugh Grant Rewrote His Bridget Jones Role for Upcoming 4th Movie: I Wanted to Help
Hugh Grant could get a screenwriting credit for the next Bridget Jones movie. The Love, Actually actor, 62, told Vanity Fair in an interview published on Sept. 11 that he altered the script for the upcoming film to make sure his character, Daniel Cleaver, was part of it. Although he starred in the first and second films (Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason), Bridget's boss Cleaver didn't make sense in the plot of Bridget's unexpected pregnancy.
