Stephanie Arcila is rather like Us and was completely stunned by Fire Country's season 2 premiere proposal — regardless that it involved her character, Gabriela Perez.

Earlier in the premiere, Bode's former enemy, Sleeper (Grant Harvey), agrees to confess to being the actual drug smuggler, which allows Bode the chance to get out of jail and as soon as once more work at Three Rock to knock day without work his sentence.

"I was undoubtedly in shock, because I don't wish to anticipate issues. I wish to be stunned," Arcila advised Us in February of the bombshell engagement. "Once I read it, I referred to as some of my other castmates and I'm like, 'Did you see that? I'm engaged! We're engaged!' What is this?'"

The actress defined that as season 2 unfolds, viewers will see how Gabriela processes the proposal and Bode's return to Edgewater. "We're going to see and learn how that develops and how she feels even when she doesn't say how she feels," Arcila teased.

Arcila informed Us that she hasn't "came upon yet" if there will probably be a love triangle involving Gabriela, Bode and Diego. "I feel what we'll see is that love that she nonetheless has for Bode," she revealed. "And [Gabriela] making an attempt to battle and work out what's greatest for her. You'll undoubtedly really feel it and also you'll undoubtedly see it, but on the finish of the day, they both need one another to genuinely be completely happy they usually both need one of the best for each other."

Arcila noted that there's "such a deep love" and a "lovely connection" between Gabriela and Bode, so Gabriela will "all the time love him" on some degree.

"I feel there shall be a shift in her maturity as nicely that folks will see," Arcila advised Us, including, "I feel [that] her heart is making an attempt to only construct again up from those million little pieces that have been damaged in the last season."
