King Charles and Queen Camilla debuted their 2025 Christmas Card.
The royals have a tradition of releasing Christmas cards every year, but this year is especially bittersweet.
King Charles—who is undergoing cancer treatment—wants "a special last Christmas in case it's his last."
King Charles and Queen Camilla have officially released their 2025 Christmas card! The royal couple debuted a simple portrait of themselves smiling in a garden along with the message "wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year."
They captioned their post, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The King and Queen are pleased to share this year's Christmas card, featuring a photograph taken in the grounds of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome during Their Majesties' State Visit to The Republic of Italy in April."
This is a bittersweet holiday for King Charles amid his health struggles, and there've been reports that he's been privately preparing for this Christmas to potentially be his last.
A source recently toldUs Weeklythat "Charles prioritizes duty, but he's also a family man who knows his time is precious. He wants a special last Christmas in case it's his last."
His Majesty will spend Christmas day partaking in annual royal traditions, like the church walk and the recording of his big speech. "Nothing would stop Charles from doing that," a source said. "He will do everything expected of him and more. His health isn't the best. They're taking it day by day."
An insider added "the celebration may carry a wistful tone, however, it will also be a time of celebration, especially after Kate received the all-clear. They all want to make the most of their time together."
It looks like the royals are spending Christmas at Sandringham per usual, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won't be included in this year's festivities. More on that below!
