Arie Luyendyk Jr. Schedules Second Vasectomy 2 Months After He and Wife Lauren Welcomed Baby No. 4

BacheloralumArie Luyendyk Jr.poked fun at his decision to get a second vasectomy.

In a Friday, Dec. 5, Instagram video, the reality TV star, 44, made a phone call to a doctor's office receptionist, with the text "Making THAT call for the third time … Need a punch card" above his head.

Luyendyk told the receptionist he needed to schedule another vasectomy. "Snip snap, snip snap," he said with a smile as Adele's "Hello" played. After scheduling the appointment, he told the receptionist "sounds good," and gave the camera a thumbs up.

"She's probably heard it a thousand times lol," he captioned the post.

Luyendyk andLauren Burnhamwelcomed their fourth child,Livvy Rowe, on Sept. 18. They also share daughter, Alessi, 6, and 4-year-old twins Senna and Lux. Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham, 34,tied the knotin Jan 2019, about 10 months after getting engaged onThe Bachelor'sAfter the Final Rose.

After Senna and Lux were born, Luyendyk said in February 2022 that he underwent his firstvasectomy.

In the spring of 2024, Luyendyk explained that he wasn't ruling out adding more kids to his family in a Q&A on his Instagram Stories. "A year ago I would have said 100% no way but im feeling more and more likeI rushed the vasectomy," he wrote over a picture of Alessi. "Don't know yet what the future holds but rn im loving this stage with them."

In July 2024, hereversed his vasectomy, which he didn't announce until February 2025.

"We said that we were done having kids like, I don't know, a couple years ago," Burnham explained in theirYouTubeannouncement. "But I think we're going to do it one more time."

"As you guys know, I got the vasectomy after the twins were born, and ever since then, I don't know, I think I rushed it," Luyendyk explained in the YouTube video. "Honestly, it's more on me. I think having the twins was hard at first."

"And then I kind of remember a moment of watching Senna, and she's like...all of our kids are like the best age right now," Luyendyk continued. "And I just felt like, 'Dang it, I think we could do this again.' "

In March 2025, they announced they were expecting their fourth child. That same month, Burnham shared that she experienceda chemical pregnancybefore conceiving their fourth child. (TheCleveland Clinicdescribes a chemical pregnancy as "an early miscarriage that happens before the fifth week.")

"We tried and tried," she explained in a YouTube video. "And we were unsuccessful for a little bit and then we had a chemical pregnancy. I've never had a chemical pregnancy before, so I thought that was it. Like we were actually pregnant."

In April, they announced that they were expecting another baby girl, with anInstagram Reeldocumenting their intimate gender reveal beside their three eldest children.

The excited parents popped a black balloon that burst with pink confetti for the big reveal. After popping the balloon, their little ones joined in on the excitement and cut into a cake that had pink filling.
